We want you to be happy with your purchase from Oak + Sage. Please review our return policy carefully:

To initiate a return, please email shopoakandsage@gmail.com with your order number and/or receipt.

Store Credit Only: We issue store credit for all eligible returns.

Non-Returnable Items: The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

• Accessories
• Jewelry
• Shoes
• Garment Items (such as bodysuits)
• Any item discounted and/or bought during a promotion (BOGO, % off, etc.)
• Clearance

Shipping Your Return:

• The cost of return shipping, $7.99 for any number of items, will be deducted from your store credit. 
• Once we receive your return, we will refund the purchase amount to an Oak + Sage E-Gift Card sent to your order's email address.
• Please allow up to two weeks for your return to be processed.
• We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or items marked delivered. To file a claim with the carrier, please contact your local USPS, UPS or FedEx carrier. 

Return Timeframes: 

• Initiation: Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase.
• Shipping: You have 5 days to ship the item back after your return is approved.
• Late Returns: Items shipped back outside of the 5-day return window will be subjected to a $5 fee.

Condition of Returned Items: To be eligible for store credit, items must be returned in their original condition:

• All tags attached
• Unworn
• Unwashed
• Undamaged
• Unaltered
• Free of excessive human or animal hair
• Free of smoke smell
• Free of makeup marks or smears (items returned with these issues may not receive full credit)

Denied Returns & Restocking Fee:

• If returned items do not meet these requirements, the return may be denied.
• If returned items are not in original condition, a $10 restocking fee will be deducted from your store credit.

Defective Items:

• In the very rare case of a defective or damaged item please contact us here  within 3 days of receiving your order
• Include a photo of the damage in your email
• If we are not notified within 3 days, the item will no longer qualify for a return or replacement.

Important Considerations:

• Oak + Sage is not responsible for damages to clothing caused by improper care or handling, or incorrect sizing by the customer.
• Once an item is worn, you cannot return the item. 
• The exact colors of merchandise may vary due to photography lenses, indoor/outdoor lighting, and computer monitor resolutions. Clothing patterns may also vary. These situations do not qualify as defects.

Return Limits

At Oak + Sage, we offer small-batch, seasonal collections with very limited inventory. Because of this, our return policy is designed to reflect the unique nature of our offerings and the number of returns we can reasonably accommodate. To keep things fair and sustainable, we accept returns on eligible items, with a maximum of 10 returns per customer each year.

This helps us manage stock, prevent bulk returns, and keep our prices fair—all while continuing to bring you the fresh, beautiful pieces you love.

Holiday Return Policy

With the original proof of purchase or gift receipt, merchandise purchased November 30th – December 25th may be returned for a store credit through January 10th, or 30 days from the date of purchase, whichever is later.
